Having a day off around the Casa Del Montana means firing up the smoker. Last week I smoked a beer butt chicken and a Boston butt. Damn it was good! I wasn’t going to smoke this weekend, but the lovely and talented Priscilla found some ribs on sale. I’ll never turn down BBQ Ribs. She also found a Beef sirloin tip roast…Fuck it! It ain’t a brisket but I’m sure it will smoke up too.

As the day of activity wears on with all the stuff going on, the television somehow ends up on the satellite radio channel. Bluesville just seems to create the perfect mood and atmosphere. The smoky tinge of the air, a few friends and family, a couple of beers, and the anticipation of slow cooked fall off the bone meat is a great environment.
